Some of the products listed within the guide can only be found in locations outside Washtenaw County and others are only available on a national level.

The products chosen for the Product Locator Guide have been selected based on the materials that comprise them, their durability, their air quality advantages, and/or their ability to aid buildings in effectively use energy.

This guide does not make comparisons between various products within one category. For example, the Product Locator Guide lists several insulation types, all of which will help retain indoor temperatures, some of which are better for individual applications, and others still that would be considered more environmentally attractive for various reasons.
