| A 600 pound steel beam supported half the roof and deck structure of the former building. Contractors and RAA employees removed the beam using the Gehl forklift. A piece of carpet was layed over the tines of the fork to prevent the steel from sliding around. The beam was first lifted straight up and out of its mounting and then lowered to the ground and placed on 2x4s. A group of 7 people carried the beam out to the yard for sale. | |||||||||||||||

| It's gone . . . it's back! Contractors decided to remove the outer stud wall and rebuild it. The standing wall was not completely straight and the En-House required new openings for windows and doors. The perimeter of the En-House is frame entirely with salvaged dimensional lumber. The interior walls will be made from Insulspan structural insulated panels. The panels were special ordered and should be ready in December. | |||||||||||||||
