Insulated Panels The En-House is insulated partly by Structural Insulated Panels. Contractors can build entire walls out of the SIPs,
with the only additional lumber required being at the joints. As a result,
SIPs can be assembled in short time. SIPs provide a continual air barrier
for greater energy efficiency. Where air is able to escape through holes
and cracks in traditional framed walls are nonexistent with SIPs. SIPs can
be ordered in a wide variety of widths for use as walls, cielings, floors,
etc. Although the polystyrene used in the panels is not made from recycled
content, it is a bi-product of petroleum refining. View the Product
